Moon conjunct Pluto in the 10th: the public transformation
The Moon at 5 Scorpio sits within a degree of Pluto at 6 Scorpio, both in the 10th house of career and public standing. This is the chart's center of gravity.
A Scorpio Moon needs intensity, depth, and control over what it reveals. Conjunct Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, that need doubles: emotional life as a series of deaths and rebirths, an all-or-nothing relationship with feeling, and an instinct for the taboo. In the 10th house, the whole thing is public. The emotional transformations happen on stage, and the public sees them.
This is the signature behind the career of reinventions: the personas, the costumes that were as much shed skins as outfits, the pattern of taking a private wound and making it the show.
